Network Thermostat Announces Partnership With Light Progress Usa

Grapevine, TX, 1-26-2022 – Network Thermostat™, a leading provider of connected thermostat solutions for facility energy management and building automation, announced today its partnership with Light Progress USA.  The companies have cross-integrated each other’s technologies to provide a new standard for the proper application of UV-C Disinfection and control.

“The NetX™ team is very excited about this partnership with Light Progress USA.  After studying the many options available for air disinfection and surface disinfection available in the marketplace, Network Thermostat is proud to partner with Light Progress USA, which has a 35+ year history of providing UV-C disinfection products globally to hospitals, municipal water supplies, and HVAC systems.” Jerry Drew, Network Thermostat founder, and CEO

“The Light Progress USA team is thrilled to partner with Network Thermostat to deliver controlled healthy indoor environments for people to work, learn, eat, shop, and play.  With the integration of Light Progress USA Calculated Convection™ and Network Thermostat, facility system owners now have the controls to monitor UV-C disinfection, per each custom application.  Together, our teams are empowering our customers to provide world-class environmental health and safety, for their employees, students, and customers while also delivering energy efficiency to their investor stakeholders.” Tom Donkers, Light Progress USA CEO

Network Thermostat’s patent-pending integrated UV-C controls using thermostats is a game-changer, allowing the proper dosages of UV-C to provide coil cleaning and room air disinfection through HVAC equipment and also stand-alone in-room products.   NetX provides an easy setup for UV-C control via three methods; the NetX embedded web server in every NetX X7 Wi-Fi or Ethernet thermostat, the NetX-Cloud environment, and for systems integrators using the NetX native API. With Network Thermostat’s proprietary UV-C control algorithms, UV-C lamps can last up to 450% longer than typical control methods. Light Progress USA’s commercial-grade UV-C applications provide up to 18,000 hours of lamp use, and with the NetX controls, that can mean only replacing a lamp in typical applications about every half-decade.
