NetX &x with NT-485

NetX NT-485 Modbus Translator for NetX Thermostats

The NT-485 is a simple-to-install Modbus translator for connecting NetX X-Series thermostats to any Modbus system, regardless of the manufacturer. The translator connects via the 3-wire NetX RSBus remote sensor network and is compatible with any NetX X Series thermostat.

The NT-485 address is configurable from the front panel of the thermostat. The unit can act as a bridge between the X-Series thermostats and any system using Modbus, including VAV/VVT controllers, BAS systems, and Industrial Automation systems. This allows the user to continue to enjoy the near-effortless management of their facilities while simultaneously allowing seamless integration with their large and complicated commercial control systems.

NetX Light Progress USA

NetX Light Progress USA Partnership for UV-C Disinfection

Network Thermostat's patent-pending integrated UV-C controls using thermostats are a game-changer, allowing the proper dosages of UV-C to provide coil cleaning and room air disinfection through HVAC equipment and also stand-alone in-room products. NetX provides an easy setup for UV-C control via three methods; the NetX embedded web server in every NetX X7 Wi-Fi or Ethernet thermostat, the NetX-Cloud environment, and systems integrators using the NetX native API. With Network Thermostat's proprietary UV-C control algorithms, UV-C lamps can last up to 450% longer than typical control methods. Light Progress USA's commercial-grade UV-C applications provide up to 18,000 hours of lamp use, and with the NetX controls, that can mean only replacing a lamp in typical applications about every half-decade.

Delta Controls VAV/VVT with NetX

NetX Delta Controls Partnership for VAV/VVT Controllers

As the world of connected devices continues to grow and become more a 'standard' rather than a 'wish', commercial HVAC applications are being required to become more 'connected' with the end-user. Standard equipment such as roof-top units and package systems have always been the easiest to connect and control. Standard equipment such as roof-top units and package systems have always been the easiest to connect and control. The challenge has been, ” How do we offer the same powerful and simple controls users are used to with commercial-grade IoT thermostats, with a larger VAV or VVT system?”

The answer: The NetX developed the NT-485 Modbus translator for connecting NetX X-Series thermostats directly to the Delta Controls VAV and VVT controllers, allowing seamless integration into the NetX-Cloud ecosystem. This capability can be deployed for new construction jobs where a full VAV box is needed, and for retrofit applications where upgrades to the VAV box control are desired.
